Todd joined Equitable Advisors as a Financial Consultant in April 2001, bringing a wealth of knowledge in the fixed income securities market from his 15 years on Wall Street.
Prior to joining Equitable Advisors, Todd was a Vice President on the fixed income sales desk for Advest, Inc. While at Advest, Todd managed an account base consisting of large portfolio managers as well as the regional dealer bank community throughout the country. Todd also managed bank and thrift accounts specializing in community development investments.
Previously, Todd was with Nomura Securities for 10 years as a Vice President on the fixed income sales desk. Todd built his business from the ground up focusing on the regional dealer community. Sales consisted of mortgage-backed securities, structured notes and derivatives, with a primary focus on government agencies and treasuries.
As an entrepreneur, Todd founded Innovative Real Estate, Inc. where he served as President from 1996 to 2002. Todd bought, sold, and managed condominium properties in the Hudson County area.
After graduating from Red Bank Catholic High School, he attended The College of William and Mary where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration. He has also been awarded the title of Retirement Planning Specialist by Equitable Advisors, LLC based on the receipt of a Wharton Certificate in Retirement Planning. The Accredited Investment Fiduciary® designation is to assure that those responsible for managing or advising on investor assets have a fundamental understanding of the principles of fiduciary duty, the standards of conduct for acting as a fiduciary, and a process for carrying out fiduciary responsibility.
Todd is an active member of the Egremont, MA community where he lives with his wife, Margaret, and sons Hunter and Pierce.
