Michael DiRocco

Michael graduated from Rutgers University in 2004 and began his career representing the retail food distribution industry and their supply partners before state lawmakers in Trenton, NJ.  In that role, Michael focused on state regulatory and financial issues facing the industry and was a key member of the government affairs program working closely with lawmakers, legislators, the governor’s office and state departments to advocate in support of the industry’s position on legislative and regulatory proposals. 

In 2007, Michael joined Takeda Pharmaceuticals, NA and worked directly with private physician offices and major healthcare institutions and hospitals located in New York City and the Bronx.  In this role, Michael represented the company in their metabolic, gastrointestinal and sleep disorder divisions to build relationships with thought leaders in the medical profession and advocate on behalf of the company’s products. 

Michael’s experience working with owners and operators his entire career has aided him in understanding the unique needs of small business in a complex regulatory environment.  Therefore, in 2013, Michael joined Equitable Advisors LLC where he is able to incorporate his knowledge of private business into wealth building and risk management strategies for the firm’s clients.  In his current role, he focuses on high level investment management, retirement income distribution strategies and risk management solutions for business owners and individuals.  He holds FINRA 7 and 66 registrations as well as life and health insurance licenses.
